Hi! I’m Ellen Winkle and I’m so excited you’ve come to my little corner of the internet! I am a registered nurse and board-certified health and wellness coach. I’m also a wife and mom to two teenagers—one of whom has Autism. When I was just 13, I weighed 180lbs and I experienced all the bullying and insecurity that comes with being an overweight teen. I've spent the last 30 years working on my health, fitness and nutrition--and I'm still a work in progress! But I can truly say this work has transformed my entire life. And today, at 43, I am in the best shape of my life! I know how incredibly challenging it can be to prioritize our own health while juggling the rest of life’s responsibilities. I have the knowledge, experience, and passion to help you discover the transformative power of improved health too. I’m rooting for you!
I have training and experience in health maintenance, management of stress and chronic health conditions, nutrition, exercise and life-work balance. In addition to being a registered nurse and certified health and wellness coach, I‘m certified in Evidence-Based Practice and as a Wellness Practitioner. I integrate the latest research and trends in health and wellness, so that I can provide the best possible guidance to my clients. When you work with me, you get the health expertise of a nurse and the personalized wellness support of a coach!
Health and wellness coaching is like a road trip to better health where the client is the driver, and the coach is the co-pilot. The client sets the destination—their health and fitness goals—while the coach helps chart the best route, offering guidance, encouragement, and a map of possible paths. Along the way, the co-pilot helps identify roadblocks, detours, and the best places to refuel, but the client remains in control of the wheel. Together, they navigate the journey, celebrating milestones, singing to the road trip playlist, and adjusting the plan as needed to keep moving toward the client’s wellness destination.
During our meetings, I'll invite you to think about your strengths, past experiences with health and fitness, and your short and long-term goals. Your priorities guide our conversations. Together, we'll strategize, make plans, and tap into internal and external resources to clear roadblocks and get you to that destination!
Our first session is approximately 60 minutes. We'll discuss important information about your health history. We spend time crafting a detailed picture of what health and wellness means to you, and mapping out how you'd like to get there. This is our "Big Picture" meeting. Our ongoing sessions are approximately 30 minutes and where we'll dig into the nitty-gritty daily steps of your journey. Along the way, we celebrate every achievement and learn from every detour.
Coaching is offered on-line (using MS Teams and Zoom) and in-person for local clients who prefer that venue. Our in-person meetings can take place wherever you feel most comfortable! Single coaching sessions and packages are available. Payment is due upfront for all services, and you will be invited to book your first session at time of purchase so we can get a jumpstart on your journey! (Please note that session packages list all sessions as 30 minutes...I promise the first session is longer!)

I will help you navigate your dietary choices, plan meals, and develop healthy habits that promote long-term wellness and vitality.

You don't have to feel stressed out to benefit from stress management. As a nurse and mom, I understand the many ways stress can impact our lives. I can offer guidance and support to help you recognize and manage stress. I can share strategies for coping with and reducing stress so you can live a happier, healthier life.

As your coach, I will hold you accountable and provide support every step of the way while maintaining a judgement-free, honest and empathetic space where trust flourishes. I'll help you stay motivated and on track to achieve your health and fitness goals.
Chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes require lifestyle modifications and daily health maintenance tasks that can feel challenging to manage with a busy life. As a nurse and coach, I will integrate knowledge with behavioral support to help you establish routines that positively impact your health so you can thrive!
If at any point in our time together, we determine that your health needs are outside the scope of my expertise and practice, I will offer a referral to an appropriate specialist.
Success starts with finding what works for you. We can meet virtually or in-person. In-person coaching is currently available to clients in Bucks (PA), Mercer (NJ) and Middlesex (NJ) counties.
